How to play

• Each cell needs a player who fits both its row and its column.
• You have 9 guesses for the nine cells.
• A wrong guess costs a try but doesn't block the cell — you can come back to it. It will just cost you a cell at the end if you run out of tries first.
• Each player can only be used once per grid.
• A name outside our database costs nothing — try another spelling or player.
• Out of guesses with cells still open? You can keep playing with no limit — but your score is locked in at that point.
• Each correct answer is worth up to 150 points — the less obvious the player, the more you score. Your score is revealed at the end.
• Tap a clue for more explanation.
• Show Results ends the game early and reveals every answer.
